What Is Radius
The Spider 4, 7 and 8 has an external keypad, one of the functions that is available on this is Radius.
Radius is a dynamic exclusion zone of a preconfigured size. When the Radius button is toggled on, the position reporting is suspended while the aircraft operates within the bounds of that geo-fenced area.
Tracking will resume on exiting the radius area or toggling off the Radius button.
How To Set Up Radius
1. Select the 'Admin' cog in app.spidertracks.io
2. Select the Organisation that you would like to set up Radius.
3. Click 'Aircraft Settings' on the left-hand menu.
4. Select the Spider, and update the Radius setting.
5. Click Save.
Radius Behavior
If you are using the Automated Watch function on your Spider 2, Spider 4, Spider 7 and Spider 8, Radius is disabled.
However, if you are using your manual Watch Mode, you can activate Radius when pressed.
If you are flying on Watch mode and you press Radius, Watch will automatically be disabled, however, once you leave the predefined Radius, Watch will automatically be enabled.
